References Sources for Television Shows and Books This is a cool page from User:Kdeorne1 Hello All, I was wondering the best way to go about looking up references and sources that would be considered credible in updating and editing articles on television shows and books. Any thoughts on where to start since I do not want to try and end up doing something wrong on my first attempt? Thanks.Kdeorne1 (User:Kdeorne1) (talk (User talk:Kdeorne1)) 13:15

talk page. Still probably worth doing. :Which doesn't directly answer your question - perhaps others here will want to do that. In any case, it's great that you're planning to start with sources, to improve articles, rather than just taking information wherever you find it. -- John Broughton (User:John Broughton) (♫♫) (User talk:John Broughton ) 13:32, 1 March 2012 (UTC) ::Hello Kdeorne1! I hope your

need to seek other Journals of similar reliability and reputation. Libraries in those countries should still be able to help you locate such sources. -- Jayron (User:Jayron32)''''' 32 (User talk:Jayron32)''''' 14:46, 1 March 2012 (UTC) Locating places in Wikipedia map. Sometimes, it is not what the person is looking for, and at the top of the article, they will usually find a link to alternate articles with same or similar names, or a link to the disambiguation (WP:Disambiguation) page to assist them. sup

LaSalle, Quebec

should be used. Sometimes we have to go to the old map, and if LaSalle is a dot on the map, than it should be LaSalle, Quebec. Some boroughs are just two communities put together, separated by an m-dash. Well, these aren't communities like LaSalle, or Verdun, and are only created for administrative reasons. However, LaSalle is still very much a community. -- Earl Andrew (User:Earl Andrew) - talk (User talk:Earl Andrew) 17:50, 6 August 2005 (UTC) :::::::Yes we can. It's entirely based

on communities. Restoule, Ontario is not a municipality, yet it does not exist as Restoule. The same goes for LaSalle, Quebec. It's a community, just like Restoule is, except it just has a lot more people. -- Earl Andrew (User:Earl Andrew) - talk (User talk:Earl Andrew) 19:10, 6 August 2005 (UTC) ::::Zhatt, that works in theory, but for consistency reasons we should always have provincial indicators after a community name. Of couse, it is uneccesary for the major cities. I

suggest we move the borough articles that have the same names as communities to something like LaSalle (borough) and have that article talk about the administration of the borough, while we get LaSalle, Quebec as an article on the history and geography of the community. I think this is a good compromise, and I hope the Montrealers will accept, as it is the only compromise I can agree with right now. -- Earl Andrew (User:Earl Andrew) - talk (User talk:Earl Andrew) 15:12, 10 August 2005
