Hamburg

. Hamburg is famous for an original kind of German alternative music (alternative rock) called ''Hamburger Schule'' ("Hamburg School"), a term used for bands like Tocotronic, Blumfeld, Tomte (Tomte (band)) or Kante (Kante (band)). The city was a major centre for heavy metal music in the 1980s. Helloween, Gamma Ray (Gamma Ray (band)), Running Wild (Running Wild (band)) and Grave Digger (Grave Digger (band)) started in Hamburg.

. That year, the band signed with Noise Records (Noise Records (Germany)) and recorded two songs for a Noise compilation record called ''Death Metal (Death Metal (Split album))''. The compilation featured the bands Hellhammer, Running Wild (Running Wild (band)), and Dark Avenger (Dark Avenger (band)). The two tracks were "Oernst of Life" by Weikath and Hansen's "Metal Invaders," a faster version of which would appear on the band's first full-length album


Germany

German heavy speed power metal scene to emerge in the early to mid 1980s, along with bands such as Helloween, Running Wild (Running Wild (band)) and Blind Guardian. Twin towns Hyères is twinned with Rottweil, Germany and with Koekelberg, Belgium. Père Noël is sometimes confused with another character. In Eastern France (Alsace and Lorraine (Moselle) regions), in Belgium, in Switzerland, and in Eastern Europe there is a parallel tradition to celebrate
